Abstract
A team of clinicians and researchers led by Russ Moody will observe plenary and parallel presentations to uncover new information relating to the provision of smoking cessation treatments. In the final plenary session on Day 2 Russ will summarise these key messages from the conference and make recommendations for changes in clinical practice
that NHS Stop Smoking Services may wish to consider.

Biography
Russ Moody graduated from Leeds University in 1998 with a degree in physiology. Russ then worked in the health and leisure industry managing a health club in north London. With his experience in assisting people change their lifestyles, Russell moved into smoking cessation. Russ has now been working within the field of smoking cessation for the last 5 years. He started out as a specialist quit smoking adviser for Plymouth stop smoking service in 2001. Russell is now involved with managing a specialist smoking cessation team of 13 and is responsible for coordinating the training and development needs of the service. Russell has presented at conferences and events across the southwest and facilitated workshops on smoking cessation issues accordingly. Russell also presented a parallel session at last years UKNSCC.
