About Us
The UK National Smoking Cessation Conference is organised for the field by Exchange Supplies.
The conference speakers and presentations are independently selected by the programme directors Andy McEwen and Heather Thomson, the programme planning committee (whose members are listed below) and the conference partners (also
listed below).
Exchange Supplies is a social enterprise that was established to develop harm reduction responses to illicit drug use. As part of that mission we organise a national drug treatment conference and a national conference on injecting drug use.
With development of the field rather than profit as our primary aim, we are different from commercial conference organisers in that we are able to commit to running an annual conference for the forseeable future and invest the conference income in bringing the best possible speakers from around the world to speak to UK audiences, the best free online conference archive, quality venues, and professionally organised events.
We are an ISO 9001 accredited organisation, which means that we have a full set of independently audited proceedures designed to continually improve the conferences we organise. If you would like to give us any feedback, on either the website or the conference, please click here to send us a feedback form.
