        Biography

Ray Croucher has been Professor of Community Oral Health at Queen Mary University of London since 2001. Passionate about smokeless tobacco control, he manages the Bangladeshi Stop Tobacco Project –recognised in the UK as a model of good practice – providing services for the Bangladeshi community of East London in which both smoked and smokeless tobacco prevalence far exceeds the current English norm. A UK Centre for Tobacco Control Studies collaborator, he has researched the English smokeless tobacco market, models of cessation service delivery for underserved populations and predictors of oral pain reported by clients following a smokeless tobacco quit attempt.
