Abstract
The NICE guidance on Quitting Smoking in Pregnancy and Following Childbirth is due to be published in June 2010. This presentation will highlight key recommendations made within the new guidance. This will include training recommendations for those working with pregnant women who smoke, along with other recommendations for both commissioners and providers of services. The presentation will be given by the NICE implementation lead for this topic. As the guidance is not yet finalised I cannot give clearer indication of content, but this would be an excellent opportunity to share the recommendations.
