        NHS Networks meeting

        Presenter(s)

Ben McClelland  Comms Manager, NHS Networks

        Abstract

Join us for this lunchtime session about free networking space for health and social care.

We aim to illustrate how easy it is to find peer support and create your own online network using collaborative tools aimed at making your job easier. You can access this resource wherever, whenever as it is fully accessible through the rigorous e-security necessary for public sector organisations.

One of our newest networks is launching at UKNSCC with a poster presentation. Carmel O’Gorman leads the National Forum for Smoking and Pregnancy, aiming to enable individuals with an interest in smoking and pregnancy to connect with each other, share information and keep up to date with latest developments in the field.

Whether you’re from health or social care, clinical or non clinical, leading a network or just seeking out who’s doing what in your field, this is an opportunity you can’t afford to miss.

        - Free web space for health and social care networks
        - Tools for more effective collaboration
        - Your own network discussion forums and blogs
        - Space to share information and resources
        - Open and closed groups

Our networks are large and small, professional and social. All aim to improve outcomes in health and social care.

Join us if you want continuity at a time of change; to stay connected with leaders and peers; to find people who share your interests and knowledge in a national forum. If you want to build your own network website, visit www.networks.nhs.uk, register your email address and follow six simple steps.
