        Biography

Sally Good is the General Manager of DECIPHer Impact, a university owned, not-for-profit spin-out company which was set up in 2010 to distribute evidence-based health interventions involving young people.

Her current role involves training, supporting and quality assuring customers to ensure that ASSIST is delivered in line with the trial methodology so that the fidelity of the intervention is maintained.

Previously, she spent 4 years working for Public Health Wales, setting up and managing the ASSIST programme following the successful trial results. During this time she was also involved in the cessation work being developed by Stop Smoking Wales.

Dr Jo Holliday is a Research Fellow at Centre for the Development and Evaluation of Complex Interventions for Public Health Improvement (DECIPHer) at Cardiff University.

She began her research career as part of the team who evaluated the ASSIST Programme, and conducted a PhD exploring the role of social networks in facilitating peer-led interventions, utilising ASSIST data.

More recently she has been involved in a number of evaluations of public health interventions and policies including the evaluation of the Welsh smoking legislation and a trial of the Strengthening Families Programme 10-14 UK.
