        Dr Mohammed Jawad  Clinical Research Fellow, Department of Primary Care and Public Health, Imperial College London

        Biography

        Mohammed Jawad graduated with a medical degree from Imperial College London in 2012 and a BSc in Management and Health Sciences from Imperial College Business School in 2010. He is currently on the Academic Foundation Programme working as a junior doctor in the West Midlands.

        Mohammed has published studies in tobacco control, and has developed a growing expertise in waterpipe tobacco smoking.

        In March 2013 Mohammed was awarded the Daniel Turnberg UK/Middle East Research Fellowship to undertake tobacco control research in the American University of Beirut (Lebanon). From August 2014 he will start an NIHR-funded Academic Clinical Fellowship in Public Health Medicine
