        Dr Laura Jones  Lecturer in Qualitative and Mixed-Methods Health Research, School of Health and Population Sciences, University of Birmingham

        Biography

        Laura Jones is a Lecturer in Qualitative and Mixed-Methods Applied Health Research in the School of Health and Population Sciences at the University of Birmingham. Laura has multi-disciplinary health related expertise with a particular focus on tobacco control and child health research. She previously held a UK Centre for Tobacco Control Studies fellowship in the Division of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Nottingham. As part of this fellowship, Laura led the development and initiation of a clinical trial to test the effectiveness of a complex intervention to reduce children's exposure to secondhand smoke in the home.
