Simon Gilbody is Professor of Psychological Medicine and Health Services Research at the University of York. He is Director of the Mental Health and Addictions Research Group (MHARG) and honorary consultant psychiatrist at Leeds York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Simon trained in psychology and medicine before undertaking training in psychiatry in Leeds and CBT in Newcastle.
