        Biography

        Dr Sanjay Agrawal is a Respiratory Consultant and Chair of the British Thoracic Society smoking cessation specialist advisory group. In these roles he has helped to introduce a number of measures locally and nationally to support smoking cessation in secondary care.

        Melanie Perrys' career within the NHS spans twenty five years, nursing within Secondary, Community and Primary Care settings, gaining the skills and patient experience that she believes enable her to perform within her role of Secondary Care Specialist so successfully.
        Her approach to training hospital staff is that of ‘heart’s and minds’, engaging and inspiring others to make a difference.
