        Abstract

The Gloucestershire NHS Stop Smoking Service (GSSS) decided in January 2014 to use digital marketing as a way of increasing footfall in to the service. In partnership with Media Way Point and Petersen (private digital marketing strategy) we have setup a Facebook, Twitter and a new website.  Through this we have utilised several marketing strategies such a bulk emailing and texting, Pay per click advertising, targeted tweeting through Hootsuite, promoted posts on Facebook and utulising Trust Pilot as a review system for our service.

GSSS would like to share this good practice and encourage more services to adopt a digital marketing strategy.

Source of funding: Funded directly by the Stop Smoking Service
