        Abstract

The Challenge Group is a collaboration of charities, academia and Royal Colleges who pooled their expertise to publish a report in 2013. Much has been achieved since this document was published.

In late 2015 with the Government’s tobacco plan coming to an end and a new strategy planned it seemed timely to review the Groups original recommendations and define a new mandate for the next five years.

        This session will discuss:

        • Progress made against the 2013 recommendations

        • Priority areas for national and local action

        • The work of the ‘Communication with Women Working Group’ whose role is to increase and improve appropriate messaging both between health professionals and with the public

        • The resources available to support practice

This session will include an opportunity to:
        - Share what is happening locally
        - How the Group can support future practice
