        Biography

        Annie Blyth is Senior Research Associate at the University of East Anglia, and has worked on many randomised controlled trials, in a variety of areas, including asthma, COPD, pain, substance abuse and smoking cessation. She also undertakes qualitative research and mixed method studies and is currently co-ordinating two studies - SHARPISH: a large HTA-funded RCT looking at smoking relapse prevention, and MINA: a project which is looking at the management of minor ailments.

        Vivienne Maskrey is a Senior Research Associate at the University of East Anglia, and is also a Registered Nurse. Her research interests are problem drug use, alcohol dependency and smoking, using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. She is currently co-ordinating two studies - SHARPISH: a large HTA-funded RCT looking at smoking relapse prevention, and MINA: a project which is looking at the management of minor ailments, as well as undertaking a needs assessment of detainees in Police Investigation Centres for the Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies.

        Tracey Brown is a Research Associate at the University of East Anglia, currently conducting research into smoking relapse prevention (NIHR HTA funded). Other research interests include systematic review, health promotion, behaviour change and dietary intakes.
