Biography
Frances Sherratt is a PhD student in the Department of Molecular and Clinical Cancer Medicine, at the University of Liverpool. Her research involves examining whether providing smokers with personalised lung cancer risk projections influences smoking cessation. Her current study has also incorporated the investigation of smokers’ health risk perceptions and the increase of electronic cigarette use.
Frances previously completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Chester and an MSc in Health Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University. She has previously been employed as an Alcohol Practitioner for Addiction Dependency Solutions and a Clinical Studies Officer within the NHS.
