        Dr Marisa de Andrade  Impact Research Fellow, Institute for Social Marketing (ISM), University of Stirling, Stirling

        Biography

        Dr Marisa de Andrade is an Impact Research Fellow at the University of Stirling in Scotland.  She has a PhD in pharmaceutical regulation/public health policy and was a radio broadcaster and journalist before working in academia. Her research interests include media representation of scientific information; commercial sector involvement in public health policy (pharmaceutical, tobacco, alcohol and food industries); stakeholder relations and policy networks; pharmaceutical regulation on national, European and global levels; and community engagement and knowledge exchange through creative, innovative methods (using assets based approaches). She is passionate about health research in the developing world.
